Celebrate Autumn in Newburyport!

The 2009 Fall Harvest Festival 
Columbus Day Weekend
Sunday & Monday, October 11 & 12
10 AM - 5 PM

There will be many festive and fun things to do – all in the beautiful setting that is historic downtown Newburyport - the brick buildings and walkways, the stunning waterfront, and so many unique shops, restaurants, inns, museums and galleries to visit.

The festival will feature talented craft vendors offering all handmade crafts and artwork, great local food vendors, live music and Kids Korner located on Pleasant Street will include live children’s entertainment, face painting, and a very popular Teddy Bear Parade. 

And don't forget about the traditional Scarecrow Contest on Sunday sponsored by The Newburyport Five Cents Saving Bank – each year the whole community is invite to take part! These imaginative scarecrows are displayed throughout the Market Square area adding to the wonderful festive feel of this great fall event in Newburyport.
