Dining for all Seasons
Newburyport is a restaurant mecca of renown. Fine
foods, fine wine and fine dining for every season. Newburyport’s
reputation for exquisite fare is well known throughout New England and
beyond. Park your car and you are in walking distance to over thirty
restaurants. Locals, day trippers, and tourists flock to this city of
dining delights, not only in the summer, but year-round. Varied menus
offer tastes of Yankee New England, American and European fare, New
Orleans, ethnic enticements, and definitely the unusual. You can enjoy
legendary temptations such as the perfect lobster, succulent seafood, or
jump into the culinary offerings of Plum Island.
Family fare, candlelight romantic settings,
waterfront dining, sidewalk cafés, local favorites and critically
acclaimed upscale gourmet adventures draw food lovers to the culinary
destination of Newburyport.
Dine at the Top of a Lighthouse! A prix
fixe, tout compris dining experience, from 5-11 p.m., includes a
catered meal of your choice atop the Newburyport Rear Range Lighthouse;
cost is $375 per couple, with 50% tax deductible. Phantom Gourmet rated it
the “most romantic and exclusive,” one of New England’s top eight
dining experiences. Yankee Magazine called it one of “Top 35
Things to Do This Summer.” It’s a favorite destination for marriage
proposals and European visitors. Income raised so far has restored two
historic Light Towers. All this can be yours as well. Call 800-727-2326 or
