Don't Call Me Shirley
Enjoy Don’t Call Me Shirley as they play contemporary, popular, and classic hits from the 1960’s to today’s favorites.  DCMS is a “wicked fun” band that entertains music lovers with a wide range of tastes from the folk rock of Simon and Garfunkel to the hard rock of the Rolling Stones. Shirley is a party band for the local lounge or the backyard summer blow-out.

After the concert, visit one of the many shops open late on Friday and Saturday evenings.

About Waterfront Park
This great free concert will be staged in Waterfront Park, right in the heart of Historic Downtown Newburyport.

Waterfront Park is a Private Park maintained by the Waterfront Trust. Attendees are asked to please be respectful of the park. 
Take care to preserve the plantings, grass and trees that make Waterfront Park such a jewel in the downtown.

You may bring a blanket or a chair to enjoy the show. Please bring chairs that are appropriate for a grassy area.   
             
              

Directions to Waterfront Park:

FROM ROUTE 95:
Take exit 57 and follow signs to downtown Newburyport. 

FROM BOSTON:
Take Route 1 north to Route 95 north to exit 57. Follow signs to downtown Newburyport.

FROM ROUTE 495:
Follow to Route 95, then  south to exit 57. Follow signs to downtown Newburyport.

Waterfront Park is located directly behind the Firehouse Center for the Arts in Market Square.

 

 

PARKING
There are 3 municipal lots downtown - which are free. 
They are located at Green & Merrimac Streets, State and Harris Streets (next to the Library) and on Prince Place.

There are 2 lots run by the Newburyport Redevelopment Authority which will be charging for parking. They are located at either side of Waterfront Park along Merrimac Street (West Lot) and Water Street (East Lot)

You may also park in legal spots on the street. If you park in a nearby neighborhood, please be respectful of residents and all parking laws - do not block fire hydrants or driveways. Police will ticket or tow all cars which are parked in illegal spaces.
