Cat in the Cradle Coffeehouse welcomes the Julie Dougherty Band

The Cat in the Cradle Coffeehouse welcomes the Julie Dougherty Band on Saturday, February 22. Julie is a legend in the area coffeehouse scene, having performed her original songs at just about every folk venue in the Boston/ North Shore area. This Saturday she brings her full band to the stage and her pure folk vocals merge with a hint of rock.

Opening for Julie is Lara Herscovitch whose original folk songs are spiced with a hint of blues, pop, and jazz. Lara’s music is not only good for your ears but will nourish your soul as well.

The Cat in the Cradle Coffeehouse is hosted by the Byfield Community Arts Center, 7 Central Street, Byfield, MA. Doors open at 7:00, music starts at 7:30, and admission is $15 at the door. The Cat Cafe serves coffee, tea, soft drinks, and snacks. This month’s featured soup is tomato tortellini.
