Chemical Peels for Skin – Not as Scary as it Sounds

You may have heard of chemical peel treatments and thought, “I will never try that!” But if you are interested in treating aging skin or acne, you are missing out. Many spas use a very low grade of peels and at Radiant U Esthetics, they offer light peels that have no downtime and no pain.
Enzyme Peels – enzymes are from papain, papaya and pineapple. They break down the “glue” that holds dead, dulling skin cells together. It is a gentle but effective peel that is not painful and no downtime. It reveals a new soft smooth layer of skin.
Glycolic Peels – Glycolic acid is derived from sugarcane. This process also remove dead skin and leaves skin soft and glowing. It is beneficial for hyperpigmentation, melasma and scarring.
Salicylic Peel – Salicylic is a (BHA) beta hydroxy acid from willow bark. In addition to removing the dead skin on the surface, it penetrates deep into the skin to regulate and reduce oil production and unclog pores.
Vitamin C Peel – This skin brightening peel contains orange, sunflower and carrot oils that will deeply exfoliate and reduce dark spots. It smells like oranges and in addition to Vitamin C, it contains collagen to help boost production. If you like steam, you would love this treatment.
Chocolate Enzyme Peels – This gentle peel contains cocoa and is suitable for clients of all age groups. It is great to treat acne and dry skin and smells just like brownie batter!
