Local Landscaping Company Manager Recognized For "All-Star" Performance

Amesbury native, Andrew J. Langlois, from SLS Landscape Design & Development in Rowley, MA has been selected as a “2017 All-Star” by SIMA (Snow & Ice Management Association).

SIMA is a national organization for education, certifications, safety instruction and over-all information for the landscape and snow removal industry. SLS Landscape Design & Development is a SIMA member and has SIMA certified employees.

Chosen for his exceptional hard work, Andrew manages all aspects for the commercial property snow accounts to make sure the crew is safe, trained and prepared, and that the clients are taken care of in a timely manner. As we all know in New England, our weather is unpredictable and Andrew needs to be ahead of the snow, calling in the crew as needed, even if it’s at 2:00 a.m.

Adding to this special acknowledgment, the all-stars chosen are nominated by one of their peers. “His duties are numerous. Routing and scheduling, equipment purchasing and maintenance, billing, strategy, recruitment and employee retention, safety and new sales opportunities, just to name a few.” – Kevin Szczechowicz, Lead Business Developer at SLS, speaks highly of Andrew’s commitment to SLS and the position of Snow Manager.

SLS Landscape Design & Development was founded in 1975 by Joe Szczechowicz. His love and passion for nature and the landscape has grown into a full-service landscaping company out of Rowley, MA. The team at SLS boasts highly experienced and educated Designers, Horticulturists, Arborists, and of course, an amazing Snow Team. Learn more about SLS at www.sls-landcapes.com.
