Maudslay is Haunted is right around the corner and TITO (Theater in the Open) is looking for volunteers!
Every October, the entire TITO community gathers for our biggest fundraiser of the year. Characterized by spooky spectacles and long lines of audience members, Maudslay is Haunted is a long-standing tradition. It’s also a low-pressure and FUN way to support Theater in the Open.
Whether you want to perform or help out backstage, we can use your assistance. Wanna create a skit? TITO leaders will help you develop it from beginning to end — no performance experience is necessary. Feel like lending a hand backstage instead? We always need people to sell refreshments, help with parking, take tickets, and more.
Maudslay is Haunted is more silly than spooky, so youngsters are welcome to join us. We just ask that any volunteers under 10 years old have a responsible chaperone with them at rehearsals and performances, so we can be sure they’re comfortable and cared for at their performance site.
Check out more information (including the low-commitment rehearsal schedule) on their website here.
Ready to join in the fun?
Attend the orientation meeting on Saturday, September 22, 1:00PM-3:00PM at the Gatekeeper’s Lodge in Maudslay State Park (1 Spring Lane, Newburyport).
