Newburyport Police to Participate in Bike Rodeo
| NEWBURYPORT — City Marshal Mark Murray is pleased to announce that the Newburyport Police Department will participate in a bike safety rodeo this weekend and invites the public to attend. |

| Saturday, May 5 from 1-3 p.m. |
| A rain date is set for Sunday, May 6. |

WHAT:
| The Newburyport Police will participate in a bike safety rodeo hosted by Newburyport Livable Streets, in conjunction with Riverside Cycles and the Massachusetts Safe Routes to School program, to promote safe biking habits for children. |
| Attendees can receive a bike and helmet safety check, review road signs, learn hand signals and ride through a traffic safety obstacle course. Participants can then test what they’ve learned for a chance to win raffle prizes. |
